  1. What they do with annual release games is that they hold back on what they do. They could make it great, they could add all the features and such whatever they want, but no, because they need to leave something for the next year.

  2. On wednesday I was sitting by the radio reading a book about Jackson F. Pollock and wondering why the podcast wasn't airing. Today I was really glad to have found it on this other device.
So please don't drop off the face of the earth!

  3. I do have something like brain fog where everything around me, people I talk, buildings trees, everything seems distant and unreal. It feels like my whole life is dream. My dreams are vivid and as clear as that foggy reality which I perceive in my waken state. Sometimes are even more material and when I wake up I have few moments of confusion.
There are some other moments and they happen when I'm in complete darkness and tired to the point of exhaustion. I hear clear, disembodies voices. Maybe dozen of them. Voices are young and old, harsh and mellow, fast speaking and slow. Weirdest thing is that they are talking about something that I could never think of, as if they are completely independent of my thinking even if they are product of my brain after all. I realize all of that, but it still scares me when I hear them.
i do not suffer from schizophrenia, nor anyone in my family does. I can't hear anything like that when my eyes are open.
It is ver interesting what our brains can create and how we all perceive reality a bit different from each other…well that's my sad story for today :)

  5. I'm also a person with quite vivid dreams, so much so that I use to call it dream reality... there are even places I can come back to, so it has at least some continuity. But sometimes I can remember them well, sometimes only fragments, sometimes nothing at all. Jim, maybe you just don't remember your dreams well enough. I heard that if you write down what you remember of them regularly, your memory (and even your ability for lucid dreaming) gets better with time.

  6. Hey Jim, can you guys do a podcast on game development and design? I might be curious to know your struggles, thoughts on current game trends, that sort of thing, future plans or endeavours (omitting specifics), that sort of thing.

  11. I'm still searching for that great space game. Personally I would prefer one without 'trading' which I feel has become some kind of stale compulsory inclusion in all space games. Surely developers can come up with some originality here. Break from the Elite norm as it were.
