  1. Another winner! I suspect you guys could just chat about anything and it would be enjoyable. I reserve comments about the actual content as I don't want to spoil anything for listeners. Can there be podcast spoilers? Anyway, nice recipe for chocolate chip brownie cookie cakes...oops.

SPOILER ALERT: The best part is when they talk about chocolate chip brownie cookie cakes.

    1. There can totally be podcast spoilers. But can there be anti-spoilers? Things you say will be in an episode that sound like spoilers but actually aren't true? Perhaps that's the only antidote for spoilers. A barrage of misinformation that makes any potential spoiler suspect and the surprise is left in which of the spoilers was real and which was fraudulent.

  2. Another very enjoyable episode. I agree with Pacbilly that worst thing about Indiana Jones 4 was Shia. I cringed when he appeared, mimicking Marlon Brando from "The Wild One" I don't know if is just another rumor, but he didn't even know what movie was referred in that scene.

  3. I think the problem with using cartoon-style physics in a movie like Indiana Jones is that it slowly erodes any hope of there being any tension in the movie. You know that there won't be any consequences for action scenes, so it undermines any suspense.

I'm not sure it's true we don't have an ideology where space exploration is a goal. It's true for many it isn't, but I think that more and more people are attracted to it. I don't think that the majority of humans are going to warm to it any time soon; but the number of private space companies that have appeared in the last decade or so is heartening.

    1. Exactly. Just exactly that.

I think if people can make space exploration profitable, that will really pave the way for it. If someone can make asteroid mining work, that would completely change the world economy forever and secure our future in space.
